The award winning Irish indie feature film ‘Trampoline’ is set to have it’s Dublin tonight in Cineworld at 6.30pm.
Written and directed by Tom Ryan, Trampoline is an independent film shot and set in Nenagh Co. Tipperary and follows a young woman named Angie (Aoife Spratt) who moves back home after finishing college and tries to readjust to small town life. She gets a job teaching at her old school and quickly realizes that she’s simply not cut out to teach and must rethink her career path.
Shot on a budget of less than €1000, but it’s gone on to achieve great success, having won awards at festivals like ‘Best Film’ in New York and ‘Best Lead Actress’ for Aoife Spratt in LA. Trampoline also recently won ‘Best Coming of Age Feature’ at the Canada International Film Festival.
The film also received a 2 week limited cinema run at the Ormond Cineplex Nenagh in Co. Tipperary where the movie was set and filmed.
Tonight will mark it’s first ever screening in Dublin and members of the cast and crew will be in attendance. The film will screen at 6.30pm in Cineworld on Parnell St. On behalf of the cast and crew, we are extremely grateful to the management of Cineworld Dublin for making all of this possible!
