Our upcoming screening in the Beggarman in Cork received a mention from CorkNews.ie, with a recent article devoted to the movie.
The award winning independent feature film Trampoline is returning to Cork on Thurs June 12th at the Beggarman for one night only.
Written and directed by Tom Ryan, a former student of St Johns College Cork, Trampoline is a coming of age story about a young woman named Angie (Aoife Spratt) who moves home after finishing college and tries to readjust to small town life. After getting a job teaching at her old school she quickly realizes that she’s simply not cut out to teach and must rethink her career path.
The film was set and shot in Tipperary for a budget of less than €1000 and deals with the current generation of students who find themselves lost and directionless after college.
